What experiences make you a great ambassador?

My name is Mariia and I am Ph.D. student first semester at Social Faculty, program "Social Policy and Social Work." I am living in Brno from September 2018 and I gained experience in studying the English Master's Degree program "Public and Social Policy and Human Resources" at Masaryk University. I would be glad to share with you my experience in studying and living in Brno as an ambassador.

What advice would you give to new students?

One of the most important acts that you can take is called networking at Masaryk University. It means meeting the right people who can assist you with your career goals currently or in the future. Get to know a wide variety of people, including faculty, staff, and students.

What do you love most about Brno?

Brno is a beautiful city with many opportunities like meeting different people from all around the world, traveling to near capitals and other near towns, learning languages, eating some typical Czech food and getting closer insight to local culture, history of Brno and Masaryk University.
