Master the business sphere

The aim of this programme is to deepen the understanding of the purpose and the functioning of the business sphere – in particular enterprises, their organisational structure, management, economy, and financing. An important area of the study is mastering the analysis and design of management systems, including knowledge of management and managerial skills. Studying psychological, socio-cultural, business and other communication skills is part of the study. The complex of acquired knowledge and skills thus forms a top manager capable of covering all the essential aspects of the functioning of the company with the ability to manage the business properly and efficiently.

The Faculty of Economics and Administration is a PRINCE2® Accredited Training Organization and it is the only school in the Czech Republic offering training on the MS Dynamics NAV ERP 2016 in English.

We encourage our students to spend a semester abroad to widen their horizons. Find the best business practices abroad and get ahead of your competition. The Faculty of Economics and Administration also offers study programmes in cooperation with the University of Huddersfield (UK) if you aim for a second degree.

Graduate profile: Higher management, marketing or trade?

Graduates' managerial skills include effective use of time, successful negotiation with business partners, creating the public image, effective leadership, effective motivation of colleagues, the art of dealing with people and developing general communication skills. All of these enable the graduate to hold leading management positions.

Thanks to the specialized focus of the studied subjects, the graduates of the field have access to the possibility of realization in commercial enterprises in general (e.g. in higher management positions), or its specialized sections (e.g. purchasing, marketing, trade, etc.). Graduating from a Master's degree program enables graduates to deepen the general knowledge base of economic sciences and link them with practical application.

Admission

To be accepted for a master’s degree at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, you need to provide the admission office with a number of required documents, including your CV, the proof of the English language proficiency, a statement
of purpose detailing your motivation to study the programme, and a few others.
