The aim of the doctoral degree program is to prepare specialized professionals with a focus on the theory of art education and its overlap with other disciplines. The basis is creating the theoretical background of the field, scientific research and extension of professional competencies towards the theory and practice of art and gallery pedagogy.
An important part is the enhancement of knowledge in related scientific fields (e.g. history and theory of art, philosophy and psychology of art), which define the historical and philosophical dimensions of art education.
