The summer school is focused on the methodology to achieve lean processes and their implementation. Part of the course is practical training of selected methods and tools in the form of case studies and simulation games, which are practically usable in the field of lean manufacturing and logistics, lean administration and lean processes in services.

• Basic concepts of Lean (Added/non-added value, value stream, waste elimination, etc.)
• Selected methods and tools of lean
• Lean management and process – team process improvement

• Practical case studies and simulation games focused on lean process in the field of lean manufacturing and logistics, lean administration and lean processes in services

July 26–29, 2021 - lectures and training of methods in the laboratory of business process management at the Faculty of Business and Management.
July 30, 2021 mix of teaching and social program – planned excursion to the production company - specifically Škoda Auto Mladá Boleslav, spare Bosch Diesel Jihlava.
July 31, 2021 - presentation of results, social program
August 1, 2021 - social program

The organization of the excursion depends on the situation regarding Covid-19, ie. whether access to company visits will be possible.
